Sponsors
We have a great youth minister and sponsors here at Providence. Our youth minister's name is John, and he's been here for about 6 years. He's really great and we're happy he's here with us (even though we don't show it most the time!) Some of our sponsors are: LaDeanna, Lance, Amber, Chris, Billy/Clay, Dave, David, Jan and Debbie. They all take time off work and use the time that they could be spending with their families in order to help the students with their spiritual walks. All of the sponsors deserve a big round of applause because each and every one is doing a wonderful job. They are all great and we're glad that they give up their time and lives to be with us. We really appreciate all the hard work that they put into this youth ministry, because without their hard work, there would be no youth group. THANK YOU!!! |

The High School
Our high school group is really fun. We have about 25 people that come most of the time, and about 15 active members. Some of the activities that the high schoolers do are the Mission trip, CIY, Tanglewood Summer Camp and Mid-Winter, and our annual "October Trip". Last year, we went to Galveston for this trip, and the year before we went to Austin and spent the weekend by Lake Travis. Basically as a group we just try to have fun while spreading the Good News. We also participate in many service projects, such as going to the Houston Food Bank and helping out around various charity organizations in the Spring.
The Junior High
The Junior High has a lot of fun. They go on several trips throughout the year and do community out-reach. On Wednesday they have there own small group lead by a loving sponsor Mr. Dave. They are also are apart of the different ministries on Sunday night.
